Thanks for checking in.

When the Granville Island Public Market opened in 1979, we were there.  In this village-within-a-city, a shopper can find a personal touch; every store is independently owned and attended by experts.  Not only can you find what is local and good, you often get ideas from other shoppers, maybe exchanging a tip or recipe, or catching sight of local chefs doing there own shopping.

When the first edition of The Granville Market Cookbook came out in  1985, it was the beginning of a glorious 25 years of food, friends and fun.  Join Carol Jensson and I as we recall some great stories, get new ideas for dinner, and celebrate the market.
